Unhardened

Let your heart be unhardened.

Your current self may be curious to know know where that key was lost when your young adult self that the teen chose to lock up because the child needed protection.

Let them all be free.

Soften into the parts where your deepest desires deserve to be felt.

Let the armor that is shielding this cage be transformed into chiffon, as it wisks away all the collected dust of whispers you’ve accumulated from the voices of others who do not know your youist you in the corners.

That dust is what is clouding you, and making its way toward that pretty little mind.

Shake it off.

Take a rag, and make your shell spotless.

Let this rag may be the higher you, the strongest you, the wisest you removing all that does not serve your self.

As you remove these narratives, thank them for keeping you safe throughout the years, for protecting you and “saving you”.

But you don’t need to be saved any longer.

You’ve got you.

Your desire to experience the full range is what will open you up, cracking that nut so that love can ooze out to the world.

You can find pleasure after experiencing so much pain or rejection or victimization or loss or feeling othered.

Free yourself by allowing others to witness you in your wholeness.

Uncover the darkest parts of you.

Bring them to light.

And allow yourself to be embraced.

That embrace will heal you.

You are holy. You are whole. You are held.
